Officer: Talent Sourcing

Our client is recruiting for an Officer: Talent Sourcing to be accountable for ensuring effective facilitation of recruitment processes and reporting within the Department.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Manpower Planning

  • Draft adverts, engage OD on the accuracy and ensure placement on the relevant forum. 
  • Screening of applicants, complete reference checks. 
  • Finalise offers in accordance with employment and compensation policies. 
  • Compile appropriate engagement paperwork and submit to the payroll coordinator. 
  • Liaison between search firms and hiring managers. 
  • Ensure compliance with applicable organizational regulations, HR policies, and procedures to prevent and/or minimize potential liability to the company.

Reporting

  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports for the Department. 
  • Submit a list of new employees attending induction to Learning and Development on a monthly basis. 
  • Report on outstanding supplier invoices. 

Stakeholder Relation

  • Assist with inquiries and requests for information from both internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Contribute to the maintenance of relationships with vendors, service providers, or procurement teams and ensure that all relevant procured items are invoiced and paid on time. 

Resourcing Administration

  • Coordinate interviews as requested by the Senior Practitioner. 
  • Prepare interview packs for the panel. 
  • Arrange an internal or external interview venue. 
  • Deal promptly and effectively with staff enquiries related to resourcing. 
  • Ensure efficient record keeping of resourcing documents. 
  • Record and file all advert requisitions and adverts. 

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources/Industrial Psychology related qualification. 
  • Relevant 3 years of experience in Human Resources Administration/Talent Sourcing related environment.
